#4 KU beats #11 Arizona 83-80 in the third round of the NCAA Tournament. Paul Pierce scored 20. B.J. Williams had 18 points and 9 boards. Jerod Haase had 16 points, 10 boards and 8 assists. Jacque Vaughn had 13 points and 11 assists.

#2 KU beats #13 Illinois 73-69 in the third round of the NCAA Tournament. KU is 32-3. Drew Gooden had 15 points and 13 rebounds. Keith Langford also scored 15. Aaron Miles added 13 points. Nick Collison had 11 points and 9 boards.
